Detailed handmade paper sculpture of a calliope hummingbird & columbine flower.
I had the pleasure to create this piece for the Paper Artist Collective Charity Calendar for 2022.
All profits will be donated to Art Refuge, a charity that uses art and art therapy to support the mental health and well-being of people displaced due to conflict, persecution, poverty and the coronavirus.
I really love that we as a community of artists are creating something that is not just beautiful to look at but also raises money for important charity projects like Art Refuge!
14 members of the Paper Artist Collective donated their time to create artwork especially for this project.
